What data is collected

Only anonymized, technical usage data is collected on cygnus-2.com. This includes browser type and version, operating system, device category, language settings, screen resolution, pages accessed and referrer path, approximate times of page accesses, session duration, basic interaction events (e.g., scroll depth), as well as load times and error messages. The data collection is aggregated and without identifiers, so no conclusions can be drawn about individual persons. IP addresses, unique device identifiers, or comparable identification features are not collected or stored.

What data is NOT collected

We do not collect personal data. In particular, we do not collect: names, email addresses, postal addresses, phone numbers, payment or account details, birth dates, logins or user accounts, IP addresses, precise location data, device IDs or fingerprints. There is no registration, no comment system, and no newsletter. Unless you actively contact us by email, no contact details reach us.

Purpose of data usage

The anonymous metrics are solely used to broadly understand visitor traffic and improve the usability of content via Cygnus 2.
